REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

All players must bring their own ball to tryouts.  Shin guards are required.  Bring plenty of water!

Tryouts are mandatory, and begin on Monday, August 12th at Minnetonka High School per the schedule shown below.  All players must have a current physical, completed registration form, fees paid in full and confirmed clearance from the activities office before they can participate.  You must register on-line!! Please do not wait until the last minute to complete registration.  Thank you!!

Team selection is a highly competitive process.  It is anticipated that the initial Varsity team will consist of approximately 20 players.  The Varsity Reserve and B teams will be limited to 22 players.  The Freshman teams (9A & 9B) will each have no more than 22 players.

Team placements for the Varsity Team will be decided on Wednesday August 14th.  Varsity Reserve placements will be announced on Thursday, August 15th.  Freshman & B-Squad team placements will be announced on Friday, August 16th.  All team placements will be announced on site by the coaching staff.

Varsity Tryouts are for all incoming Juniors & Seniors, all returning Varsity and Varsity Reserve players, and any incoming 9th or 10th grade players who have been invited by the coaching staff.  

9 & B Tryouts are for all incoming 9th and 10th grade players, except for those who have been invited to participate in the Varsity tryouts.  

2024 8th graders who played on the MHS 9A team should tryout for B-Squad.  2024 8th graders who played on the MHS 9B team should attend the 9th grade tryouts.

We will invite incoming 8th graders to tryout this season. Please note and understand that roster spots are available to 8th graders only if there is room on the team rosters after all 9th grade players have been placed.  In the event that the 9A and 9B team rosters are completely filled with 9th grade players, 8th grade players will not be selected.  Any questions about this policy should be directed to Coach Rogers.
